Theri is the original owner of Groom for Men. She studied at Vidal Sassoon and is a former technical director for American Crew. Recently she has written a book to accompany many technical videos making her a celebrity in the hair industry! Theri has been voted one of the top 100 people to know in Milwaukee by OnMilwaukee.com and top stylist for men by Milwaukee Magazine.

Erica is a partner at Groom, a crucial member to our growth since the very beginning in 1999. Erica went to beauty school at MATC and is a former National/International Educator for the American Crew. All Star Team. Erica has been teaching her art and technique since 2002. This sturdy foundation in mens hair has gained her a dedicated clientele who walk the streets of Milwaukee with confidence and style. She has been behind the chair since 1997 and she still proclaims its her favorite role in the salon. Connecting with clients, staff and students is her specialty. She was voted “Mama Bear” by the staff in our annual Groomies awards, and it 100% fits.

Dana began cutting hair when she was 13 on her mother’s front porch in Door County, WI. After beauty school, she gained industry credits in Milwaukee,Chicago and New York. After 7 years working for a Salon and Spa, she joined the Groom team. Dana’s passion and dedication to her craft led her to become our Director of Assistants. She isn’t cutting hair on her mom’s front porch anymore, but she always makes everyone feel right at home.

Alison graduated from cosmetology school in 2011. She came to Groom for the opportunity to focus on male design, quickly becoming a master of technique and design. Alison’s natural talent and skill are truly inspiring, making her a highly sought after barbette. She has now become the Director of Shave and trains all Groom staff on straight razor techniques.

Amy sets her sights high, and her decibel levels even higher, here at Groom. She is extremely driven, seeking out knowledge and new skills day after day. Her undeniable passion for men’s hair combined with her raw talent makes her a great fit in our Groom family.

Recently relocating her barbering skills from Arizona to Groom, Josepha brings an effortless spark to her craft. She has been quickly embraced as a member of our Groom family. An artist and musician, Josepha inspires with her innovative cutting skills. Creative endeavors through many avenues give her happiness.

Carly has been with Groom for Men since 2013. Now as a Director, she leads the company with a broad rage of salon wisdom.  Her craft is well rounded with the classics; yet, she loves to create punk and rocker styles. Outside of cutting hair, Carly is an avid gamer and rollerblader.

Lola came to Groom to refine her barbering skills and to be inspired as well as work next to masters of this craft. She enjoys classic haircuts with a modern edge as well as longer, more relaxed styles. She is a creative force to the technical mastery at Groom. Lola also has a cat named Bart, and he’s kind of a big deal. Yes, he has an Instagram account (@tuxedobart).

Mariah came to Groom with an interest in barbering and we realized immediately that she is a natural. Currently an apprentice, she is also attending Milwaukee Area Technical College for Cosmetology. Her bubbly personality paired with her passion for the barbering industry has already made Mariah a huge asset to Groom for Men.
